How to Gain your wings

Due to the latest changes to the rebirthing and service systems, there have been some changes to the current application format to tailor to these in-game changes. This is to ensure that our guild stays strong, as well as have the best of the best aiding you in missions or retrieving things.

Our requirements have been split into three different race requirements since the introduction of the Elven and the Giant races.

General Requirements

Must Be Age 17+ In Real Life

  • Most of the guild members are in high school or above, so quite a few topics that are talked about in guild chat are a bit on the mature side time to time. We are quiet in guild chat most of the time, but there are instances where we will just take a break from our runs and chat
  • This is to also keep out those who had little to no respect and feel that everything has to be spoon-fed to them instead of working for it
  • Also, try to stay away from chat-like typing (Before = b4, pl0x/plox/pls = please, etc...). It gets extremely annoying over time. Shorthand is fine during dungeon runs, but please, try to keep this to a minimum
  • No spamming the guild chat. Any spamming will result in a warning. If there is still spamming, then the person responsible will be asked to leave

Show Respect to All Players at All Times

  • Aviary is a guild not intended for players who are beggers, weak, whiny, lazy, drama queens/kings, and all other aspects of complaints. You will earn your keep regardless of how hard the item in question is to get. Immature players will be dealt with harshly
  • If there is a problem that cannot be settled in a civilized manner. please do not bring it into the guild chat. This is how guild dramas begin. Those who do start dramas will be excused from the guild immediately
  • We do work with some guilds who have newer players (aka: newbies), so please be pateint with them as they are still learning. If there is a report about an Aviary member harrassing any of our allies because they are new, that member will be subjected to dismissal, no questions asked
  • Scammers will be dealt with promptly and reported to Nexon. There is absolutely ZERO TOLERANCE when it comes to scamming. You do it once, you are out of the guild, and most likely, out of the game.

Be Active

  • It is not necessary to be on 24-hours (Certainly hope not...), but log in at least three times over a period of one week and check in with one of the other members in charge if the guild master is not on. The last login time is checked via Guild List, so if the time reads "A Week Ago," a reminder will be given about the requirements of being in the guild.
  • If there is a reason for extended leave, please do mention this to the guild leader so that you are not pruned from the members list as inactive
  • If you have alternates, be sure to log into those too to reset your login counters
  • Since we are pretty much a combat guild of sorts, it would be wise to participate in the guild runs we do whenever possible. Not only is this beneficial to the person in charge of the run, but also for yourself in terms of leveling, learning techniques, and making friends within the guild.
  • Occasionally, we do participate in the guild battles that take place every Saturday at 8 PM PST, but that is if there are enough participants who want to join

Race Specific Requirements

For Humans

Since humans are considered the main for a lot of players, they have the most amount of requirements, especially since the Mainstream Generation quests revolve more around them.

  • Generation 2 MUST be completed
    • If you skipped G1, you MUST COMPLETE G3! NO EXCEPTIONS!
      • NOTE 1: G2 was skippable at one point until that option was taken out during one of the patches in G6S4. If you also managed to skip G2, then you must complete G3 before you can even be considered for recruitment
      • NOTE 2: Prior to the initiation, you will need to prove that you have completed certain generation quests by showing the titles to the proctor
        • If either G1 or G2 were skipped, you must show that you have the G3 title "Savior of Erinn" before you can consider joining
        • If G3 is not completed or in-progress, but G1 and G2 are done, you may be considered if you have the title "Saved the Goddess" and show that you have the Paladin White Knight transformation
      • NOTE 3: Humans that are alternates of main characters within the guild and ally guilds may skip, but only if they log in with their main and prove that they have completed G1, G2, and G3 (See requirements below if your main is other than a human). If the main is within another guild outside the alliance, reason must be given as to why you are joining. This is to prevent guild drama and conflicts
      • NOTE 4: If G1 AND/OR G3 have been skipped, joining Aviary will be at the discretion of the Guild Master alone. If the Guild Master finds that you are capable and true to your intent, then you will be considered for recruiting. Keep in mind that because G1 and G3 were skipped, the initiation will change.
    • If G3 has been completed, Soul of Chaos is not necessary, as this is optional for those who want to go Dark Knight
  • Spirit of Order or Soul of Chaos must be at least Rank A
  • Total Levels of 300+

For Elves

  • Must have the Falcon Elf Transformation quest completed
  • Fury of Connous must be at Rank A
  • Fulfill any of the following
    • Armor of Connous must be at least Rank B
    • Mind of Connous must be at least Rank B
    • Sharpness of Connous must be at least Rank B
    • Connous Natural Shield must be at least Rank C
    • Connous Heavy Stander must be at least Rank C
    • Connous Mana Refractor must be at least Rank C
    • Elven Magic Missile must be at least Rank B
  • Total Levels of 300+

For Giants

  • Must have the Savage Beast Transformation quest completed
  • Demon of Physis must be at Rank A
  • Fulfill any of the following
    • Shield of Physis must be at least Rank B
    • Life of Physis must be at least Rank B
    • Spell of Physis must be at least Rank B
    • Physis Natural Shield must be at least Rank C
    • Physis Heavy Stander must be at least Rank C
    • Physis Mana Refractor must be at least Rank C
    • Giant Full Swing must be at least Rank B
  • Total Levels of of 300+

To Apply

When applying, make sure that you state the following:

  • Character Race
  • Total levels [NOT Current Levels]
  • Two highest combat skills and their ranks
  • Build type (Melee, Archer, Mage, Hybrid [Please specify])
  • Any other information that may be useful (Notes may be used if needed)

Since we are a combat guild, most life-skill characters will be taken into consideration, as we prefer those who can fight. In particular, we look especially at Healers (Rank 5+), Enchanters (Rank 5+), and Blacksmiths (Rank 5+), or whatever is needed at the time.

Concerning Alternate Characters

Everyone has an alternate character or two lingering around somewhere, and sometimes it is the easiest to just have them in one guild. However, due to recent spying/guild breaking activities, if you have an alternate character that you want to add into the guild, please PM me with the name of your alternate character's name before apply, and make sure that you note that you have a main character in the guild when applying. Make sure you put the name of your main in the guild application, or else the alternate application will be rejected.
